From Palma, Alcudia and Puerto de Alcudia can be reached in just under an hour's drive. From the island's capital, take the Ma-13 motorway, which runs south of the Serra de Tramuntana directly to Alcudia. The town of Alcudia itself and the Port of Alcudia are connected by a common road network.

Without a doubt, Alcudia is a fantastic town to visit all year round, offering life, history and culture. One of the things that most interest visitors is that it is situated one kilometer from the Port of Alcudia, where you can enjoy an excellent meal in one of the many restaurants. The port area is perfect for a stroll during the day or at night when the atmosphere is at its most lively.

The town and its surroundings can also be discovered from the top. The views are unforgettable. The most advisable thing to do is to climb the wall and if it is of interest, combine it with an excursion.

The residential area of Alcudia has many options to visit and enjoy, mountain peaks, forests, traditional villas, a parish church, charming narrow streets and the market square that characterizes the town.

The market in the main square, held every Tuesday and Sunday, attracts numerous visitors interested in buying local produce, clothes, accessories and much more. 

Another interesting attraction is to visit the numerous Roman remains of the ancient city of Pollentia, of which the remains of the ancient amphitheater with some tombs are still preserved, as well as the forum and residential areas.

The most touristic area is the Port of Alcudia, which is very commercial. Not forgetting the Natural Park of S'Albufera, an area bathed by a large marsh that is home to a rich animal and plant world. It is ideal for discovering the flora and fauna characteristic of the Balearic Islands.

The municipality of Alcudia also has several kilometers of coastline made up of coves and beaches with crystal clear water, perfect to go with the family. The best known beaches are the beach of Alcudia, the beach of Muro, Can Picafort and the cove of San Vicente.
