Santanyí is a municipality and village located in the southeast of the island of Mallorca. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and most visited villages, as it has an authentic Mallorcan charm. It is situated in a privileged position, next to the second largest natural park in the Balearic Islands.

The village, in a stunning natural setting and a serene atmosphere, boasts some of the most admired beaches on the island, which are located four kilometers from the center of the village. WHAT TO SEE IN SANTANYÍ: HISTORY, ART AND CULTURE

In the south of Mallorca, where Santanyí is located, you can contemplate a beautiful, rugged coastline with breathtaking sea views and unspoilt villages.

You don't have to look far to see traces of Santanyí's past. For example, the fortified wall and the Porta Murada, which still stand as symbols of past generations' fear of the constant threat of pirate attacks that ravaged the town. It is worth mentioning that the Moorish invasions became so severe in Santanyí that many people slept in the town's closed church.

If you visit the quiet Cala Llonga, you can see the remains of an 18th century fort built to repel invasions, with embrasures to house the cannons. On the other hand, along the coast there are also several defense towers, such as the Torre d'en Beu, in Cala Figuera.
